Ken or Boris ? UK Local Election.

I left my work place around 5.15 p.m yesterday. The sky didn’t look promising at all. It was cloudy and windy like the usual London’s condition. Yeah, what’s new apart from the drizzling and grey sky in London. Yang was waiting for me in front of HSBC before we headed off to the polling station. We’d decided on who should we vote to. Ken Livingstone is doing a good job all these while except for the increased of council tax, congestion charges and ongoing rows with the metro underground which frequently disrupts the commuters ‘ journey and there’s still no improvement on bus route 83 frequencies etc. As for Boris, hmm we’re not sure what he’s capable off apart from getting a proper hair cuts if he is to become the Mayor of London, and opps get budget right to put the old Routemaster back on the road, yeah then you’ll have issue about pollution and congestion etc. He might gains protest votes from the other side as people may want Ken out because he has been there for too long i.e. 3rd terms if he wins this time. How about other candidates? Well, Brian Paddick seems to be too concerned only on one issue i.e. crime rates. I know that he used to be a police and Ian Blair is his boss, and now he seems to have a proper formula to bring crime rates down in London. Then again, who doesn’t? I mean as long as there’s more budget for the Met, more police can be employed and put on the street especially in those red zones. Anyway, we voted for err.. hehe.. we rather kept that to ourself! At the moment, they’re still counting the votes and it seems like Labour is taking the hammering while the Conservative Party is leading. Boris and Dave Cameron must be smiling by now...
