Our rating - Body of Lies.

What a transformation! That's our comment on Leonardo’s latest movie, Body of Lies directed by Ridley Scott. The movie itself is filled with a hard hitting action with a CIA agent Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCarpio) on the ground doing all the dirty works infiltrating the terror cells in Middle East, watching his sidekick and informers got blown up, while his boss Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe) aka Grissom’s character (CSI) is sitting behind his desk at Langley safely back at home with his family in U.S giving out instructions. There are a lot of brutal scenes such as his good friend got blown to pieces by RPG and the bone fragments buried into his skin, the Dutch Flower market at Amsterdam scene, Manchester, and his tortured scene. Oh yes, a few funny parts like his divorce lawyer called him while he’s on operation in Iraq and his boss fell when Leornado kicks his chair. Again like his previous role as Danny Archer in Blood Diamond, these time around watch Leonardo with his good command in Arabic sentences and ooops his moustache as well. I don’t how far the censorship board in some countries will go but I think they’ll be missing the best part if they do censor or ban this movie. Yes, there may be a political and religious sensitive issue in some parts of this movie but that’s the reality it tries to show. This isn’t like a normal good old Cowboy versus Indian movie where we can predict the ending. Instead, the director twisted the ending and probably left us with a hidden message.... Regardless of what those rottentomatoes.com critics said we still give this movie a FOUR stars rating!
