I can't remember what is the significant of number 7 but I know in Chinese culture, 8 is a lucky no. and 4 is unlucky no. My Buddhist friend once told me in Kuching, to register a vehicle number, 8 is the one of the expensive numbers to be sold, followed by the number 3, 9 and 6. Though, 3 and 9 means probably nothing but he highlighted that from far away, one might mistaken 3 or 9 as number 8.. Therefore, they can still be a substitutes to number 8.. hehehe, I laughed my hats off. Gosh! Is that “tipu luck”.. hehe..false luck. I mean the fact is that 3 is number 3 and same for number 9. How can 3 or 9 be number 8!! The combinations of those numbers in the registration may shoot sky high. I can imagine those car plates bearing single number 8 or 88 or 888 or 8888 cost. JPJ must be making a lot of profit... Yupp.. some Taukehs are very superstitious about the numbering. Oh yes, back to our number 7. My wife has been watching The Seven Sword for the past 1 hour. It is a Chinese Kung Fu movie. The sequence is quite the same. When the heroes pulled out their swords, all the enemies’ falls to the ground like dead flies. It’s the remake of the legendary 1950s Japanese movie The Seven Samurai. I remember watching it in the old VHS version, once the heroes pulled out their Samurai swords, YES, all their enemies fall down like a dead flies. Then came the 60s, the Hollywood cowboy The Magnificent Seven, YES again.. They came to protect the village and once they pulled out their guns, those Mexican villains falls to the ground.. YES, like dead flies been hits by Ridsect! I wonder what will the future hold for this retold version. Then Walt Disney, SEVEN DWARFS.. huh, sound familiar! Gosh!.. Movie these days, they seem to be running out of idea.
