Sale! sale! sale!

It's that time of the year again, the Winter Sale! It's like an annual ritual where Oxford street, Bond Street and Regent street were swarmed with shoppers holding big shopping bags. Hah! so much talk about recycling bags. It doesn't matter who or what is walking on the street today. I know we're a bit late for that (after our trip to Marrakech) but let it be cats, dogs, mice or us, we will definitely peep through the window to see the price tags behind those nice showcases.

Well, lady shoppers will benefit the most in this sale as the price for the ladies wear has dropped till 50% to 70% in some stores with a wide range of choices in fashion. As for men, unfortunately like me, is a bit disappointed. Stores like GAP, Esprit, Next, Dorothy Perkins etc only offer a few selected items for sale in their Men's section. Anyway, Yang ended up with some nice up-to-date shirts at £7 and £10 after 50% and 70% off. So, I tried to look for something within that price range but felt turned off with the cheap looking, old fashion, crappy/torn shirts in those stores such as Gap, Next and Esprit. From my observation, Esprit store offers a better quality and some latest fashions lined up and of course it comes with a price tag e.g. a spring turtleneck sweater costs around £24.99 thats err, after 50% off..

Even my favorite Sport World didn't put up much sales offer for their Nike and Adidas products! The only thing they slashed off are the usual old Umbro and Everlast products, and some very old 'No Fear' long sleeve shirts at £3 each. The only choices I could find were Mark & Spencer and Uniqlo. Even so, I had to squeeze my budget out of those limited choices!
