Weekend no.5

It was my Saturday’s movie marathon this afternoon. I started with Transformer and moved onto Harry Potter. Well, my personal review on Transformer, impressive graphic effects, and excellent sound effects especially those cranking noises and banging sounds when the Autobot changes. The high power action scenes were jaw dropping. The plots were weak especially the anti climax part i.e the romantic scene which seems to squash in between the fast forward instant romance and then became a sudden tough macho hero style like Sgt Ripley in the movie Alien. So many things happen at once, 1 = saving the world, 2 = buying a car, 3 = wooing his girlfriend, 4 = protecting the cube. I think the movie should concentrate more on those Autobots scene. Anyway, children would enjoy this movie.
Harry Potter, hmm.. How should I put it? Overall, I like the graphic scene. Enchanting? nope, the whole movie was a big let down. Weak plots, weak characters (I mean those new characters), story lines are moving too fast. Then, gosh! The story line is so weak and lamed, is like I do this you do the math thing. Then the movie is like jumping here and there. I wonder what gets into the director mind. Ceez! I should have watched the Fantastic Four instead.
